H. crusafonti described at Villaroya is probably a synonym (or a subspecies) of H. rocinantis described at la Puebla de Almoradier.
An Equus may be represented at Villaroya by several bones, including tibias. If these specimens come from the same level as the Hipparion remains, it would be (...) >suite

Four taxa differing by size were described in these localities :
H. concudense, MN 12,
H truyolsi, MN 13 (the largest and the less represented),
H. gromovae, MN 13,
H. periafricanum, MN 13 (the smallest).
Their specific or subspecifc nature is not clear.
